Piracicaba to host regional forum on decent housing as public health in November
The Coletivo Painguás, a group of housing rights advocates in Piracicaba, will host social movements, industry professionals, and representatives from all three branches of government across the region at the Estação da Paulista on Sunday, November 5. The event will serve as a space for discussion, the exchange of experiences, and debate regarding solutions to the housing crisis in the interior of São Paulo. The event is held in partnership with the Projeto Gerações, FACESP (Federation of Community Associations of São Paulo), and the ATHIS network in the interior of São Paulo.
The Coletivo Painguás was established by professionals in Piracicaba engaged in the struggle for housing, following their selection for a grant partnership with CAU/SP (Council of Architecture and Urbanism) to foster and disseminate knowledge on social interest housing, the right to the city, and collective health.
