Book Launch: Rubens Meister: Project and Work

This book on engineer Rubens Meister (1922–2009) aims to contribute to the preservation of Brazil's cultural heritage, specifically through the study of modern architecture in Curitiba. The research behind the book began in 2016, following a call for proposals from the Curitiba Cultural Foundation, supported by Caixa Econômica Federal.

The primary source of information was Rubens Meister’s personal and professional archive, provided by his family and cross-referenced with other historical archives and sources. Accordingly, the book is divided into two sections: a textual component featuring essays and articles by our team and contributors, covering the context, life trajectory, and professional and academic career of the subject; and a second section presenting 28 projects selected from the more than 400 authored by Rubens Meister.
