The Landscape Architecture specialization program is dedicated to the field of Applied Social Sciences, focusing on Urban Environmental Interventions across various landscape scales. The curriculum is divided into three modules, combining theoretical foundations with practical workshops: Landscape and Environment; Urban Morphology and Rehabilitation of Historic Sites; and Green Infrastructure/Restoration of degraded areas.
The course aims to train professionals capable of intervening in the landscape to mitigate the effects of contemporary urbanization, which often overlooks geomorphological support and most environmental constraints. It also seeks to identify the processes of city formation, transformation, and expansion to manage landscape vulnerability in the face of long-term impacts.
