Reactivating Territories: The Third Bank Method

Terceira Margem focuses on creating projects that can Reactivate Territories—that is, articulating the experience of building with the Earth itself, with the autonomy of inhabitants, and with experiences that can animate their bodies, whether human or otherwise.

To this end, we have proposed three actions for this event. First, an exhibition presenting Terceira Margem’s design methodology for built environments (which we define as participatory and feminist), showcasing four projects through drawings and conceptual models, alongside a video focused on body and sensory workshops. Second, the launch of the book Reativar Territórios, which explores the theme of participation and presents this methodology. Finally, an open call for proposals aimed at sparking encounters, as well as expanding and weaving a network capable of generating further actions and reflections as we build our cities, by hosting four debates on territory: participation (earth), women (water), the immaterial (air), and autonomy (fire).
