The 12th edition of La Feria De Diseño Medellín powered by imm cologne will bring together more than 230 national and international brands in residential and contract furniture, kitchens, architecture and interior design, lighting and technology, wellness, and outdoor spaces, as well as decor and accessories. The commercial exhibition will serve as a space for innovation and a window into the design trends currently shaping the global landscape.
This year, the fair will feature an academic agenda with over 45 speakers participating in talks, panels, and conversations on the transformative role of design in contemporary life. Notable "rockstars" this year include Jairo Vives (Pininfarina of America), Eugeni Quitllet, Juan Montoya, Martin Jasper, Carmen Barasona, and Jorge Uribe (Foster + Partners), among many others, who will share insights that open new perspectives on the future of design.
Beyond inspiration, the fair is also a venue for business and supporting talent. The Business Matchmaking session will connect exhibitors with national and international buyers.
The Creadores space, curated by WantedDesign (NY), will showcase the work of a new generation of Colombian designers in furniture, lighting, textiles, and art. Experiences such as the Materials Laboratory and Cosmo Kids will invite visitors to participate hands-on, while more than 35 satellite events in design studios, galleries, restaurants, and hotels will extend the experience throughout the city, consolidating Medellín as the epicenter of design in Latin America and the Caribbean.
