“Circuito Arte Búzios” reaches its 8th edition: September 1–3
The largest art festival in the state of Rio brings together 160 artists and galleries from various nationalities this year.
An annual event firmly established in the cultural calendar of Armação dos Búzios, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, the “Circuito Arte Búzios” will take place in the charming seaside town on September 1, 2, and 3. Artists and galleries from Armação dos Búzios, the Região dos Lagos, the city of Rio de Janeiro, and states such as Minas Gerais and São Paulo—as well as countries including Argentina, Portugal, and Italy—will participate in this 8th edition. They will occupy local streets, the Praça Santos Dumont, and various studios and galleries with an extensive range of exhibitions and performances. The event aims to foster interaction between artists and the public, promote diverse artistic expressions, provide visibility to these professionals among local residents and visitors, and, above all, strengthen the cultural tourism sector of the Região dos Lagos. The event involves more than 2,000 participants and visitors, stimulating and positively impacting local businesses, including shops, inns, restaurants, and tourism agencies. All 160 artists will wear identifying shirts to facilitate interaction with spectators and visitors. Participants this year include sculptor Raquel Saliba, Sergio Joppert, Cristina Coutinho, and guest artist Armando Romanelli.
