Galeria Jaqueline Martins presents the first edition of the 1:1 project, featuring new work by João Loureiro.
The artist correlates the gallery's exhibition space with a local butcher shop in the Vila Buarque neighborhood, downtown São Paulo. Rather than merely occupying both spaces with a set of works, João Loureiro has conceived a series of chained actions that are cyclically repeated throughout the exhibition period, allowing the work to accumulate day by day.
