Sustainable Construction Week in Ecuador

The Ecuadorian Council for Sustainable Building, in collaboration with the World Green Building Council's international agenda, is organizing Sustainable Construction Week in Ecuador. This free, virtual event will take place on September 13, 14, and 15. Each day will focus on a specific theme dedicated to contributing to the planet.

The first day of the event centers on the theme "Building for the Planet." Representatives from Ecuadorian public and private sector institutions whose work focuses on the construction industry have been invited to share their eco-friendly initiatives and their recent efforts in sustainable construction. The Ministry of Energy and Mines, along with Mexichem Ecuador S.A.—manufacturer of the Plastigama Wavin brand—will discuss how they have adapted their operations to reduce their environmental impact in support of the planet and the preservation of natural resources.
