
The workshop is designed for architects, engineers, designers, students, and/or academics who wish to learn about and explore the design, programming, and robotic execution of timber joinery. It will consist of two intensive days of hands-on work, covering everything from computational design to robotic timber fabrication. The workshop will be led by architect Francisco Quitral, with an introduction by architect Mauricio Vargas, MSc, both doctoral candidates at the University of Bío-Bío.
This is an in-person event taking place on January 10 and 11, 2023. The workshop lasts approximately 12 hours (Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) and will be held at the CITEC Meeting Room and Laboratory, University of Bío-Bío, Avda. Collao 1202, Concepción.
