
The ZEMCH Workshop is an intensive program led by Prof. Masa Noguchi worldwide, focused on the design of sustainable, industrialized housing.
The 2019 edition in Concepción will focus on resilient emergency housing communities for disaster relief. The workshop covers interdisciplinary design, incorporating bioclimatic strategies, energy analysis, variable prefabrication, and community development. Prof. Noguchi is the founder of the international ZEMCH (Zero Energy Mass Custom Home) network and has held teaching positions at McGill University (Canada), the University of Glasgow (Scotland), and is currently at the University of Melbourne (Australia).
