Registration is now open for the conversations hosted by COMUNS, a virtual laboratory for experimental and participatory architecture organized by Marcella Arruda and Marina Frúgoli in partnership with the Marieta cultural center in São Paulo, Brazil. The laboratory aims to foster the exchange of experiences and reflections on social, ecological, and political technologies for transforming Latin American territories. The initiatives invited to these conversations follow logics that promote collective, collaborative, and experimental work, anchored in the ethics of buen vivir (good living), the decolonization of knowledge, and the preservation of the common good.
The debate series will launch with an opening conversation on September 17 at 7:00 PM (BRT), featuring members of the projects Vitruvius, Permasampa, A Casa de Jajja, and the COMUNS organizers, moderated by Paula Monroy. The event is free and will be available on the Projeto Marieta Facebook page.
Subsequent conversations will take place on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM on September 23 and October 14, 2020. To access the content of the debate series, interested individuals must register via the Projeto Marieta website by September 21, 2020.
