We must combat the built environment's contribution to global air pollution. We believe that sustainable buildings and cities are a fundamental part of the solution to reducing the environmental and health impacts of global air pollution. Green buildings and cities are an integral component of global sustainable development, as defined by the Sustainable Development Goals.
As part of the WorldGBC’s global Better Places for People project, which is active in more than 30 countries worldwide, we aim to address the specific impacts of the built environment on the global air pollution crisis in order to reduce its effects on human health and the environment.
