Walking is the most common mode of transportation, and it is also the one that best allows people to pay attention to their surroundings. For this reason, at the opening of Walking Week 2019, the NGO SampaPé! is hosting discussions based on the question, "Do we learn by walking?"
To explore potential answers, the event will feature two panel discussions: one with academics who will address how walking serves as a tool for knowledge from their respective fields, and another with members of initiatives that foster discovery through walking. These discussions will take place against the backdrop of PaulistaAberta, an iconic initiative for opening up educational spaces within the city.
