Art(e)facts 2021: Supernatural Togetherness opens applications for two artistic residencies

Art(e)facts is a project integrated into the Architecture and Territory area of Guarda’s bid for European Capital of Culture, curated by architect Andreia Garcia. As part of the programming for the Architecture and Territory sector of the Guarda 2027 European Capital of Culture candidacy, this Biennial of Knowledge invites artists, architects, and designers to submit projects for production in collaboration with local artisans through residencies in Fundão, Guarda, and Manteigas.

The international open call for Art(e)facts 2021 is open until March 19. Aimed at artists, architects, and designers, the initiative will award two projects with up to 6,000 euros for fees and production. The initiative focuses on contemporary artistic, architectural, or design practices, seeking proposals for original projects or those currently in the research phase.
