The international competition Sketching PERU 2019, organized by ARCHITECT SKETCHES (ASK), seeks to celebrate the art and skills of architectural sketching. This competition is not restricted to architects; it is also open to students, professionals, and anyone interested in this form of architectural art.
Participants from anywhere in the world may enter by submitting sketches of Peruvian architecture or by creating a project that can be integrated, depicted, or embedded within a Peruvian landscape (urban or rural). Accepted themes include architectural details, landscapes, and buildings that represent Peru (in fact, your drawing may depict a built project or a purely conceptual one situated within the country).
Submissions must be hand-drawn by the participant and must be their original work, regardless of whether they have been previously featured on a website or in another competition. The technique is free-style, and hand drawings must not exceed A4 size.
