What kind of city do we want? How can ephemeral activities within a plot of land inspire the creation of unique, identity-driven urban spaces?
This ideas competition emerges in a post-pandemic context, a time when the desire to inspire the city to become a more inventive, human, and vibrant space has intensified. Producing the city is also about the "during"—the process—rather than just the final product. In other words, as the city (re)makes itself, it is necessary to consider the quality of spaces for ephemeral activities; activities that may not remain permanently, but which can inspire new ways of urban life, new formats for inhabiting, and new ways of belonging.
