Public Competition for the EDDI Comprehensive Development Sports Facility Prototype – CHALLENGE

To advance the National Public Architecture Competition for the design of Integral Development Sports Space (EDDI RETO) prototypes, the Ministry of Sport, with the advisory support of the Colombian Society of Architects (Bogotá D.C. and Cundinamarca chapter), launched a call for entries on October 15, 2020, inviting architects to design a new model of recreational and sports infrastructure.

The EDDI RETO prototype is designed as a space equipped for recreational and sports activities, offering opportunities for various sports, leisure, and free-time activities for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, with the goal of improving quality of life across the country's regions. In this way, the project proposes a new type of venue that brings together the different stages of the human life cycle in a single location.
