Registration is now open for the fourth edition of the VEKA Cultural Competition. This initiative by the German multinational PVC profile systems company introduces new features this year: projects will be evaluated in two categories (Horizontal Architecture and Vertical Architecture) and must have been executed in any Latin American country.
Architects and urban planners who have developed projects using VEKA PVC doors and windows in any Latin American country are eligible to participate. A technical jury, composed of three guest architects and urban planners—one from Brazil, one from Argentina, and one from Chile—will analyze the entries through photos and descriptions, without identifying the authors or the region where the projects are located. They will evaluate entries based on the following criteria: efficient use of openings, the harmony of the openings with the building, and the project's creativity and innovation.
