The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) announced a national competition on Friday, January 26, for the architectural and landscape design of the future Covid-19 memorial. The competition is organized by the Rio de Janeiro Department of the Institute of Architects of Brazil (IAB-RJ).
The competition was launched at the IAB-RJ headquarters (R. do Pinheiro, 10, Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro – RJ). The call for entries, containing full details regarding the future memorial facility for the Covid-19 pandemic, will be available on the competition website starting February 19. Registration, inquiries, and proposal submissions must be handled exclusively through the official competition website.
