Open Call: ARCHsharing, design a rural school in Haiti

For its fifth competition, ARCHsharing is collaborating with TECHO Haiti to build a school 35 kilometers from Port-au-Prince.

Haiti is a Caribbean nation located on the western part of the island of Hispaniola. It is part of the Greater Antilles archipelago, alongside Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.

Its history has been turbulent since the arrival of settlers under Spanish and later French rule. A large portion of the indigenous population was exterminated, and hundreds of thousands of enslaved people were brought from the African continent to develop the colonial industry.
