Fugaz Festival: Ephemeral Installations Competition in Concepción

Festival Fugaz, an urban intervention festival in Greater Concepción, seeks to recognize the territory as a space of diverse cultural expression and identity. Through a series of artistic activities, it promotes community occupation of public space, aiming to foster citizen participation in open cultural events and revalue the physical heritage of Greater Concepción as essential settings for urban life.

This second edition of the festival will focus on the theme "Caletas of Greater Concepción," aiming to highlight their value as cultural and natural heritage for the Biobío region. The selected fishing coves that will form the cultural circuit and serve as daily venues for the festival are: Caleta de Lirquén, Penco; Caleta del Medio, Coliumo; and Caleta Villarrica, Dichato.

The second edition of Festival Fugaz will take place on November 20, 26, and 27, 2022. During this period, the festival will be itinerant, creating a circuit of three public spaces as settings for the various interventions, one for each day.
