The Biennial of Latin American Architecture (BAL) began in 2008 with the goal of identifying the most recent and notable examples of new architecture in Latin America, creating a forum to strengthen ties on both sides of the ocean, bridge distances, and establish a firm, solid counterpoint to the Anglo-Saxon world.
In this sixth edition, a Latin American Architectural Photography exhibition will be organized for the second time, aiming to expand the range of activities that use architecture as a theme to project the biennial and its content to society. A vision of urbanism and architecture that complements the work presented by the architects during the biennial will help shape a broader, more precise framework of the history and current architectural moment in Latin America.
