The School of Architecture at the Creative Campus of Universidad Andrés Bello is opening a call for applications for the first edition of Remote Residencies. This project seeks to foster transdisciplinary openings and experiments regarding contemporary and contingent themes of interest, formulating questions that interrogate the state of things while opening spaces for research and free creation. The work will be conducted remotely, followed by implementation through a collaborative effort between the resident and interns from the School of Architecture at the Creative Campus of Universidad Andrés Bello, Viña del Mar campus.
This is an open call with an open theme, seeking projects that reinforce the applicants' artistic or scientific explorations.
Application
Applicants are requested to submit a portfolio of work, a question, and an image capable of evoking the spirit of the intervention to guide the exploration to be developed during the residency. The image and the question must be submitted in a single PDF consisting of two A4 vertical pages with a free layout. Two PDFs must be sent (portfolio + proposal: question and image); together, these documents must not exceed 15 MB (compressed .rar files will not be accepted). Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM on May 27, 2022 (GMT-3).
