2023 Ideas Competition for University Students: Decarbonize the Walkway, Oxygenate the Paths

The Master's Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Oviedo, through its Transportation Engineering and Infrastructure department, is launching its fifth international ideas competition for students to solicit proposals for addressing issues related to transportation networks. The competition is supported by the Mieres City Council, and as such, it focuses on interventions within its municipal boundaries.

For the 2023 edition, the ideas competition focuses on the opportunity presented by transportation infrastructure that has become obsolete for its original purpose, exploring how it can be repurposed for new uses.
