The third GADU International Congress on Gender, Architecture, Design, and Urbanism will take place from November 4 to 6, in both virtual and in-person formats at the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The event is organized as part of the activities of the GADU program, based at the Institute of Human Spatiality at FADU UBA.
The central objective of the GADU Congress is to reflect on gender as an analytical category integrated into the design, urbanism, and architecture fields. In a context marked by profound social, political, and cultural transformations, feminist perspectives have successfully introduced new questions. At the same time, these advancements coexist with the strengthening of conservative and reactionary discourses that seek to delegitimize equality policies, restrict rights, and discredit critical work developed through feminism and dissident movements.
