The 11th Scientific Initiation Symposium at Escola da Cidade – Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism will take place on October 29 and 30. Submissions for presentation will be accepted until September 20.
Organized annually by Escola da Cidade, the Scientific Initiation Symposium has served since its inaugural 2009 edition as a prolific forum for debate among students, advisors, and guest commentators. The event addresses academic research and fundamental issues within the field of architecture and urbanism across its many facets—ranging from social housing and landscape studies to public art, critiques of modern Brazilian architecture, urbanism, and design.
