Organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Instituto Bardi, the exhibition "Lina e Zé: Transgressões" will be held simultaneously at the Casa de Vidro and Teatro Oficina from October 26 to December 7, 2024, revealing previously unseen aspects of the partnership between architect Lina Bo Bardi and theater director José Celso Martinez Correa.
Sponsored by Eternit through the Rouanet Law, the exhibition, which opens at the Casa de Vidro from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, marks the 110th anniversary of Lina Bo Bardi’s birth (1914–1992) and the 40th anniversary of the Teatro Oficina renovation project, designed by Bo Bardi and architect Edson Elito.
Curated by Francesco Perrotta-Bosch, biographer of Lina Bo Bardi, and architect Renato Anelli, the exhibition features drawings, photographs, and testimonials documenting the partnership between Bo Bardi and José Celso Martinez Correa. With Danilo Garcia serving as assistant curator, the exhibition will take place simultaneously at the Casa de Vidro and Teatro Oficina, utilizing a visual language centered on video mapping projections.
