The "Modern Architecture in São Paulo" course presents a special edition in July focusing on Lina Bo Bardi. The sessions will feature historical-critical theoretical approaches to the architect's work, in addition to guided tours of two projects: MASP and SESC Pompéia. During these tours, the architecture will be experienced and discussed in detail on-site.
The Thursday and Friday sessions will discuss the historical context of the production, Lina's place within the history of Brazilian and international modern architecture, and a critical approach to her work in a contemporary context. During this first part of the course, selected textual and audiovisual materials—such as drawings and videos—will be presented.
