To commemorate what would have been the 90th birthday of architect David Libeskind, journalist and author Raul Juste Lores and civil engineer Marcelo Libeskind—Libeskind’s son—are partnering with Livraria Cultura to host an event at the Espaço Deck in the Conjunto Nacional. The discussion will explore the life and background of this multidisciplinary professional who, at age 25, designed the Conjunto Nacional on Avenida Paulista, an icon of Brazilian architecture. Using Lores’s book São Paulo nas Alturas as a starting point, the event will examine the evolution of architecture over the past seven decades.
