
Michele De Lucchi, architect and designer and an influential figure in movements such as Cavart, Alchimia, and Memphis, will visit Diseño UC on May 24 as part of a series of activities organized by the School in collaboration with the PhD in Architecture and Urban Studies and the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urban Studies at UC.
The designer of the renowned Tolomeo lamp will give an open talk addressing the challenges of process and craft in a conversation moderated by Professor María Sánchez, Director of the National Fund for the Arts (Design Discipline) and Director of the Design program at the Universidad Austral de Argentina, and Pedro Álvarez, a designer and professor at the Universidad Católica de Chile, who also holds a Master’s and a PhD in History from UC.
