What Design Can Do Mexico GNP 2022

What Design Can Do México GNP 2022 returns to Mexico City with plenty of surprises in store: the event announces a new festival at the Colegio de San Ildefonso, the opening of the call for entries for its new "Make it Circular!" Challenge, and the "Make it Circular!" exhibition at the Franz Mayer Museum.

The central theme of this design festival is circularity, a concept implying that material resources can increasingly be sourced from within the economy, reducing environmental impact by increasing reuse and recycling.

On October 27 and 28, the Colegio de San Ildefonso will host a series of dynamic talks, workshops, roundtables, and other activities that will introduce visitors to circular design. The event will feature members of the creative community, including José de la O, Tania Campos, Jan Heinvirta of Perfekto, Gerardo Gutiérrez of Concretos Sustentables, Edith Medina, Cynthia Gómez of the Universidad Iberoamericana, and Adrián Velasco of the Universidad del Medio Ambiente, among other specialists who will share their expertise on the possibilities of circularity.
