Andrea Lins is exhibiting 40 works from the “Sertões” series at the Casa70Rio event, which will occupy the Instituto Brando Barbosa starting November 2.
Inspired by the flora of the Northeastern Sertão, visual artist Andrea Lins has reinterpreted the landscape across 40 recently produced canvases for the “Sertões” series, which she is presenting at Casa70Rio under the curation of Elisangela Valadares. In its second “pop-up” edition, the event returns to the Instituto Brando Barbosa in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood, featuring an exhibition of contemporary art, design, and cultural activities—including lectures and networking events focused on the art market, scheduled exclusively for the Maquinaria Festival. The event opens to guests on Friday, November 1; the public is welcome to visit from Saturday, November 2, through November 10 (see event details at the end of the article).
