In Portugal, women architects only entered the profession in the 1940s, following the validation of academic training. Although they currently account for approximately 44% of members registered with the Order of Architects, they do not enjoy equivalent visibility among the general public or their peers. This series of six conversations examines who these women are and how they navigate the various possibilities and challenges of the profession.
