He will present the lecture "The City Speaks – Modes of Urban Appropriation in the Contemporary City" at the São Paulo Architects Union (SASP). The evening will also include a book signing and the sale of the author's works.
ABILIO GUERRA | Architect and Urban Planner
An architect who graduated from FAU PUC-Campinas, Guerra holds a Master’s and a PhD in History from Unicamp and is an adjunct professor at FAU Mackenzie (undergraduate and graduate programs). Alongside Silvana Romano Santos, he is an editor at Romano Guerra Editora and the Vitruvius portal (www.vitruvius.com.br). He coordinates the Editorial Board of the scientific journal Arquitextos (São Paulo, ISSN 1809-6298). He is the author of the book O primitivismo em Mario de Andrade, Oswald de Andrade e Raul Bopp. Origem e conformação no universo intelectual brasileiro (Romano Guerra, 2010), co-author of Rino Levi – arquitetura e cidade (with Renato Anelli and Nelson Kon, Romano Guerra, 2001), and editor of several publications, including the two-volume Textos fundamentais sobre história da arquitetura moderna brasileira (Romano Guerra, 2010).
