“Inside the Landscape”. A collective exhibition of Cuban art featuring Alejandro Lloret, Alexis Iglesias, and J. Pável Herrera opens at the Instituto Cervantes in São Paulo.
On Thursday, June 20, at 6:00 PM, the Instituto Cervantes in São Paulo will open the exhibition Inside the Landscape, a collective showcase of paintings and drawings highlighting current manifestations of contemporary Cuban art. Rich in symbolism and reflection, Cuban art has revealed a trend toward reinterpreting landscapes and everyday objects through the unique perspective of island-based artists. In this exhibition, Alejandro Lloret (1957), Alexis Iglesias (1968), and J. Pável Herrera (1979) stand out within this movement, each offering a unique and profound perspective on landscape spaces and their meaningful possibilities.
