Italian Design Day reaches its sixth edition

Italian Design Day (IDD), created by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, reaches its sixth edition in 2022 and will be celebrated in Brazil with an online event on March 23. The event is promoted by the Italian Cultural Institutes of São Paulo (IIC-SP) and Rio de Janeiro (IIC Rio), with institutional support from the Embassy of Italy in Brasília and the Italian consular network in Brazil. The event is held in collaboration with the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).

Architect Stefano Boeri, President of the Triennale di Milano and author of the iconic “Bosco Verticale” in Milan, among other works, serves as the IDD ambassador for Latin America and will participate in a conversation with architecture critic Francesco Perrotta-Bosch. The talk, titled “Architecture and Green Cities: A Meeting with Architect Stefano Boeri,” will be available on the YouTube channels of all participating institutions, with Portuguese subtitles, starting March 23—the date marking IDD celebrations worldwide.
