Masterclass - Architecture and the Brain

On Monday, September 14, PENSARQ_, the architectural dissemination project by TAQ Arquitectura, will premiere a video Masterclass featuring architect Luis Othón Villegas, founder of LVS Architecture, a design studio that seeks to explore and transform sensory experiences through design and architecture. Villegas has collaborated with Harvard University and on MoMA New York exhibitions such as Design and the Elastic Mind and Safe: Design Takes on Risk.

Titled "Architecture and the Brain," the Masterclass explores the relationship between neuroscience and architecture through various perceptual factors, including observation, exposure, and stimulation. It covers the topic of neuroarchitecture, a discipline that invites us to investigate the effects of the built environment and the stimuli that manifest in a person's brain and behavior.
