MADE – Mercado, Arte, Design – is an international collectible design fair that brings together quality content in a collective space with each edition. It showcases and highlights national designers and studios, reveals new talent, encourages new production, and, consequently, expands design culture to thousands of people. Its objective is to disseminate education and culture within the sector through a design-focused content program.
The fair features an Advisory Board dedicated to debating contemporary design produced both locally and abroad, proposing specific initiatives for the project, broadening the scope of discussion, and adding diverse perspectives to the discourse. The board members are prominent figures in the fields of design, contemporary art, and architecture, including Cláudia Moreira Salles, Marcio Kogan, Pascale Mussard, Mauricio Eugenio, and Corinna Sagesser. MADE is organized by Waldick Jatobá, the event’s curator, founder, and general director, alongside his partners Bruno Simões, the event’s curator and scenographer, and Elcio Gozzo, chief financial officer.
