Women of Earth is an online seminar that explores earthen construction by women throughout Chile.
Beginning with a tribute to the late architect Magdalena "Cuka" Gutierrez, this seminar brings together the work of women architects specializing in earthen architecture from the Arica region to the Biobío region. Through a series of eight presentations, the seminar will address the constructive intervention of earth as a material in historical, vernacular, and contemporary buildings.
