“Idea and Process”
A collective exhibition featuring works in various media, curated by Lia do Rio, opens on Saturday, October 26, at Galeria Casa do Paulo Branquinho.
Curated by Lia do Rio, Galeria Casa do Paulo Branquinho hosts the exhibition Idea and Process, featuring 14 artists who stand out for their creative diversity. The exhibition includes Antônio Camara, Cris de Oliveira, Daniele Bloris, Dimas Malachini, Edson Silveira, Gardenia Lago, Isabella Marinho, Leticia Potengy, Lincoln Nogueira, Maria Perdigão, Nadia Aguilera, Rose Aguiar, Rosi Baetas, and Rosita Rocha, who update the relationships between form, color, space, and time. Utilizing painting, sculpture, drawing, digital art, collage, installation, photo art, and printmaking, they express themselves through diverse languages, though this was not a prerequisite. “The works, as a medium for visual reflection, invite engagement from those who approach them—those who allow themselves the time to look,” says curator Lia do Rio.
“With bold proposals, the artists invite the public to a visit that will remain in their visual memories,” she concludes.
