"Resilience and Adaptation Workshop" Architectural Association Visiting School Amazon 2018

Following the success of the 2017 workshop, where students conceived the Amazon Climate Change Learning Center—one of 15 finalists selected from 384 proposals in the WDCD Climate Change Challenge—this year’s AA Visiting School Amazon workshop is all about hands-on experience.

The goal is to design and build a small prototype of an experimental floating structure in the middle of Lake Mamori in the Amazon. This model will be built in collaboration with the local community, in partnership with Ecofloat, and under the guidance of AA Visiting School Amazon faculty Nacho Martí and Marko Brajovic.

Only a few spots remain for this ten-day course! Applications are open until August 30th here.
