SurSur Seminar in Concepción

This seminar is positioned in the South, looking toward the South. It approaches the subject not only through the lens of architects but also through those of a biologist, a sculptor, and a documentarian. Together, they propose methodologies, approaches, processes, and discussions surrounding what is "available," while maintaining a global perspective. This allows us to discuss what it means to study architecture at a school in the southern part of the world, exploring concepts such as territory and landscape, material, precariousness, culture, craftsmanship, and remote locations, among others.

The program is structured around four central themes: Organic, Material, Territory, and Vernacular, and will feature prominent professionals from Chile, Peru, and Argentina.
