The Arquia Foundation, recognizing the educational value of practical professional experience and geographic mobility, announces the 20th edition of the arquia/becas competition. This program offers 24 scholarships to students in the final years of their degree and to recent architecture graduates for professional internships at European architecture firms.
There are two ways to participate: through academic record or through the competition. Applicants may choose to participate in one or both simultaneously.
The sole juror for this year's competition is João Luís Carrilho da Graça, who has set the competition theme as "Second Hand: A Discreet House." The full explanation is provided in the 2019 Scholarship program guidelines.
