The Association for Strategic Reflection on Architecture (AREA) announces the eighth Latin American Architecture Biennial (BAL), 2023 edition, to highlight the work of young Latin American architects. As in previous editions, BAL aims to showcase the work of emerging professionals in Spain, thereby helping to promote their careers both in our country and their own.
The Biennial's main program will take place in September 2023 in Pamplona, with satellite events in cities such as Madrid and Barcelona. In Madrid, a series of lectures will be held at Casa de América, and BAL panels will be exhibited at the Central de Diseño (Matadero). In Barcelona, the exhibition will be hosted at the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture (International University of Catalonia).
