The Municipality of Lo Barnechea, in partnership with the Association of Architectural Offices (AOA), invites national architects to participate in a competition for the design of pedestrian bridges in the commune. The competition seeks innovative and sustainable proposals that ensure urban connectivity and integration in the Las Ermitas sector, while promoting local identity.
The competition involves the development of two pedestrian bridges to ensure circulation along the park bordering the southern bank of the Mapocho River, as well as a third bridge spanning the river, connecting the Las Ermitas sector with the town of Lo Barnechea.
Proposals will be evaluated based on conceptual design and technical and economic feasibility, as well as the strength, stability, and durability of the proposed structure, landscaping, and safety.
