The Engel Foundation invites Chilean architects to participate in the National Architecture and Landscape Design Competition for the New Museum of Santiago (NuMu). The museum will be located at the southern end of Bicentenario Park in Vitacura and will serve as a key element in consolidating a large area of the park and its edges, connecting it to the city and the urban fabric.
The proposal must integrate architecture and landscape design with a cultural focus and purpose. The museum is envisioned not only as a contribution to the surrounding community but also as an architectural landmark, a platform for artists, a space for collaboration with other institutions, and a destination that attracts a large national and international audience, providing new opportunities for the development and dissemination of contemporary art.
