This single-stage international architecture ideas competition invites all architecture and landscape architecture students, young architects and landscape architects, and young professionals with a degree in architecture or landscape architecture studies (≤ 40 years old) to develop and submit design proposals for the 'Site Mirador,' located at Bateria do Zavial, Algarve, Portugal.
The 'Site Mirador' offers a unique experience through time and memory. It is a powerful moment to heighten and stimulate the senses, to feel the weight of the cliffs, the depth of the crevices, the power of the water, and the openness of the horizon; it is a place of contemplation and a landmark in the landscape. There are no restrictions on height, excavation, or extension beyond the cliff edges.
