This single-stage international architecture ideas competition invites all architecture students, young architects, and young professionals with a degree in architecture (≤ 40 years old) to develop and submit design proposals for the ‘Site Monastery,’ located at the Fortaleza de São Domingos da Baralha, Cabo Espichel, Portugal.
The ‘Site Monastery’ is a place of solitude and contemplation, an isolated space for inner reflection and a platform for meditation. The silence and stillness within monastic walls and the powerful natural landscape provide a unique and immersive experience in a serene atmosphere.
