The Polytechnic School of the CEU-San Pablo University is celebrating its 50th anniversary. During this period, which has brought so many social and technological transformations, nearly 1,500 architects have graduated from its classrooms. This publication compiles the best Final Degree Projects in Architecture completed at the School over the last 10 years, reflecting both the quality of the results and the evolution of design interests and formal vocabularies.

Our primary objective is to train excellent professionals, and we view the Final Degree Project as an essential tool for achieving this, ensuring a comprehensive education. Students dedicate a significant amount of time to their Final Degree Project (PFC), often spanning an entire academic year, and the PFC Workshop provides them with a workspace, activities, seminars, resources, and mentorship, all meticulously organized and planned. Design, urban planning, construction, structural, systems, regulatory, and documentation requirements are covered by specialized tutors; each student is assigned six, one for each area. Their role is to support the student, address their questions, and resolve doubts, encouraging them to develop the best possible work through approaches that are both ambitious and rigorous. The coordination between a student's tutors—while inevitably complex—is fundamental to achieving the seamless integration of requirements from each area of knowledge into the project as a whole, which must be a balanced and efficient synthesis of them all.

The School, therefore, conceives the PFC Workshop as a teaching and participatory environment where students can integrate everything they have learned and practiced during their studies into a professional-grade architectural project, enabling them to achieve full functional autonomy upon graduating and entering the professional world. Students who complete their Architecture studies at the EPS of CEU-San Pablo University, culminating in a Final Degree Project like those shown here, possess great versatility. Consequently, they can direct their interests toward any field related to architecture, pursue further university education through a master's or doctoral program, work independently or for a firm, and do so either domestically or internationally.
