Following a diagnostic assessment in the previous issue regarding the severe housing deficit affecting our country, issue #47 of the Association of Architecture Offices (AOA) magazine presents a proactive vision, offering proposals to address this situation through practical approaches and effective actions.
In a complex landscape marked by a sensitive situation, it is essential to leverage the political will of the authorities while also drawing on the valuable cooperation of the private sector. This involves not only incorporating industrialized systems but also utilizing all relevant current legislation. "This will be vital to move forward with the speed and efficiency that this emergency requires," stated the magazine's director, Yves Besançon. He added in his editorial: "Along with this, we must integrate communities into the analysis and decision-making process, as their participation and knowledge are fundamental to achieving good projects and better results—both in the construction of adequate and dignified housing and in the structuring of neighborhoods and public spaces as democratically harmonious complexes and balanced, densified places."
The new issue of the magazine was unveiled at the showroom of Bash Interiorismo—an AOA partner—during an event attended by members, professionals, and sponsors.
